Gerald has been in the manufacturing industry since 1999, the last 13 as a production supervisor for a manufacturer of banking equipment. He specializes in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and inventory management. Gerald brings to Rowland his special brand of customer service that manages to meet the customer's expectations in the areas of quality control, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Gerald has been married for 29 years to his lovely wife Kristy. He enjoys spending time with his family - including his five grandchildren. He also enjoys watching movies, working out, and playing basketball and other sports in his spare time.

John graduated in 2002 from Appalachian State University with a degree in Drafting & Design. He began his 13-year career in woodworking in a stair building shop in Charlotte, NC before coming to Rowland Woodworking in October of 2003. He worked for a time in the shop learning the ropes before moving into the office where his duties include estimating, drafting, and project management. John enjoys many aspects of woodworking, especially that each project provides its own unique challenges. He says of his work, " . . . some jobs are mostly functional cabinetry and others are high-end architectural millwork whose purpose is to be aesthetically pleasing. It is satisfying to have the opportunity to manage each one and know that no two jobs will be the same." His favorite species of wood is plain-sliced walnut.

John is married and has a daughter and son. He enjoys riding bikes, fishing, and cooking, especially with friends and family.
